CM4 Sensing is an industrial computer tailored for IoT and data acquisition applications, harnessing the power of the Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4.

This compact system is designed to address thermal challenges often faced by the CPU, wireless module, and PMU, by incorporating structural flexibility and external antennas that enhance wireless communication reliability.

Offering a range of RAM options from 1GB to 8GB and eMMC storage capacities of 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB, the CM4 Sensing is adaptable to various application demands.

For applications requiring substantial data storage, the system supports the use of eMMC for operating system and application data, while a microSD card can be utilized for larger user data storage, providing both capacity and cost-effectiveness.

CM4 Sensing is equipped with a 4G/LTE module, four channels of RS485, one channel each of RS232 and CAN, and a Gigabit Ethernet port.

It also features an alarm buzzer, a battery-powered real-time clock, and supports dual-band WiFi and Bluetooth.

The DSI interface is compatible with the Raspberry Pi's official 7" touch display, and the system can power the display through a 5V/1.5A output.

Additionally, the standard HDMI interface is capable of delivering 4K HD video output.

Two channels of USB 2.0 and one Micro USB 2.0 interface are provided, with the Micro USB port dedicated to updating the system image.

The CM4 Sensing supports a wide range of power inputs from 8V to 28V DC, ensuring flexibility in power source selection.

Its dimensions are slightly larger than the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, with a heat sink that ensures excellent cooling performance for the CPU, wireless module, and PMU, allowing the system to operate reliably even in high-temperature environments.

CM4 Sensing has been tested to operate reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from -25 to 60°C.

It offers convenient installation options with four M2.5 screw holes on its bottom case, supporting both DIN rail and wall mounting.

The device is certified with CE/FCC, ensuring compliance with international safety and emissions standards.

CM4 Sensing comes pre-installed with 32-bit Raspberry Pi OS with Desktop and is compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, supporting Lite and Desktop setups. It also allows for online installation and upgrades using the APT tool.

The device's metal case, equipped with a side aluminum alloy heat sink and antenna holes, provides additional protection and ensures reliable operation in diverse industrial settings.
