The Raspberry Pi Compute Module 3+ (CM3+) is an industrial-grade computer in a modular form factor, designed for integration into custom electronics projects. It includes the essential components of the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, such as the BCM2837 processor and 1GB of RAM, along with an optional eMMC Flash storage of 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB.
The Compute Module 3+ operates at 1.2GHz and has a 64-bit quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU with 1GB of LPDDR2 SDRAM. It also provides various interfaces like GPIO, I2C, SPI, UART, SD/SDIO, HDMI, USB2, and both CSI and DSI interfaces for cameras and displays. This allows for a wide range of applications, from industrial control systems to digital media centers.
One of the key features of the CM3+ is its small form factor, which measures 67.6mm by 31mm, making it easy to embed into a variety of applications. The module also includes a full complement of the processor's interfaces, allowing for greater design flexibility compared to the standard Raspberry Pi.
