The ED-IPC2400 series represents a line of industrial computers that leverage the Raspberry Pi CM4 platform, tailoring it for a variety of industrial application scenarios. These computers are anchored by the robust Broadcom BCM2711 processor, which features a quad-core Cortex-A72 architecture and operates on a 64-bit ARM v8 instruction set, running at a commendable 1.5GHz. This ensures that the ED-IPC2400 series can handle demanding tasks with ease.

Memory and storage configurations on the ED-IPC2400 series are flexible, with options for up to 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and up to 32GB of eMMC storage. This is further supplemented by support for Micro SD cards, providing additional flexibility for data storage and operating system management.

For connectivity, the series boasts a 1Gbps-capable LAN port, an HDMI Type A port, two USB 3.0 ports which can handle data transfer rates up to 5Gbps, and a single USB 2.0 port. This robust set of interfaces is further expanded by multiple RS232 and RS485 ports, which can be configured according to specific industrial needs, with options for one, two, or three RS232 channels and two, three, or four RS485 channels.

Wireless communication is well catered for with dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 capabilities. Power input is designed to be versatile, with a wide-voltage input of 9V to 28V, complete with protection against over-current, over-voltage, and reverse connection. The ED-IPC2400 series also includes an integrated Real-Time Clock (RTC), an EEPROM, and an encryption chip, enhancing its functionality and security. A buzzer, reset button, and 8 LED indicators are also provided for operational feedback and control.

The operating temperature range of the ED-IPC2400 series is extensive, spanning from -25℃ to 60℃, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor industrial applications. The physical design of the series is highlighted by a high-quality metal casing, which not only provides protection but also excellent heat dissipation. The casing is complemented by a DIN-rail mounting system, allowing for easy and secure installation in industrial environments.

Front I/O
