The ED-HMI2002 is an industrial panel PC series based on the Raspberry Pi 4, designed to provide robust performance and versatility for a variety of industrial and commercial applications. At the heart of this panel PC is the Broadcom BCM2711 processor, which features a quad-core Arm Cortex-A72 CPU based on the 64-bit ARM v8 architecture, running at 1.5GHz. This ensures that the ED-HMI2002 can handle a wide range of tasks with ease.

The system is available with up to 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM and offers two storage options, either 32GB or 64GB SD Card, allowing for ample space for applications and data. For connectivity, the ED-HMI2002 is equipped with a Gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 3.0 ports, and two USB 2.0 ports, providing a range of options for attaching peripherals and networking devices.

One of the standout features of the ED-HMI2002 is its dual 4Kp60 HDMI display output capability, which can drive high-resolution displays for vivid and detailed visual output. The device also supports 5V DC power input via a USB-C connector, offering flexibility in power supply options. An 8-megapixel front camera can be included as an optional feature, adding additional functionality for applications that require imaging capabilities.

The ED-HMI2002 comes in two models to suit different display preferences: the ED-HMI2002-070C with a 7" LCD and the ED-HMI2002-101C with a 10.1" LCD. Both models offer a 16:9 aspect ratio for the 7" model and a 16:10 for the 10.1" model, along with support for 16.7 million colors, ensuring vibrant and accurate color reproduction. The luminance levels are 400 cd/m² for the 7" model and 250 cd/m² for the 10.1", with wide viewing angles of 160°/160° providing clear visibility from various directions.

The panel PC is housed in an aluminum CNC + sheet metal case, featuring a fanless design that offers excellent cooling performance, which is critical in industrial environments where dust and heat can affect performance. The ED-HMI2002 is designed for embedded installation and is compatible with VESA standard bracket mounting, allowing for flexible installation options.

The ED-HMI2002 supports the Raspberry Pi OS in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions, offering a choice between Desktop and Lite versions to suit different user preferences and application requirements. The device also includes built-in WiFi and Bluetooth 5.0 for wireless connectivity, and it has undergone rigorous environmental and regulatory testing to ensure reliable operation in a wide range of temperatures and humidity levels. It carries certifications such as FCC and CE, making it compliant with international safety and emissions standards.
