The ED-IPC2000 is an industrial computer designed to leverage the capabilities of the Raspberry Pi CM4, tailored for use in various industrial settings. This computer is fully compatible with Raspberry Pi's hardware and software, offering a size slightly larger than the Pi4, but with significant enhancements for industrial use.

Notably, it features an aluminum alloy casing that greatly improves heat dissipation, crucial for maintaining performance in demanding environments. Additional encryption chips, an RTC (Real-Time Clock), and other essential modules are integrated onto the board.

The ED-IPC2000 is equipped with a powerful Broadcom BCM2711 CPU, which includes a quad-core Cortex-A72 (ARM v8) 64-bit SoC running at 1.5GHz. It offers flexible RAM options, including 1GB, 2GB, 4GB, and 8GB of LPDDR4 RAM, along with various storage options such as 8GB, 16GB, or 32GB eMMC, with the added benefit of supporting a micro-SD card simultaneously. For connectivity, it boasts a Gigabit Ethernet port, an HDMI Type A port, two USB 3.0 ports, and one USB 2.0 port.

The power input is designed to handle DC 9V to 28V with reverse polarity, overvoltage, and overcurrent protection, with optional DC Jack and Phoenix Connection, and PoE (Power over Ethernet) capability.

The ED-IPC2000 series is designed to operate within a wide temperature range of -25℃ to 60℃, ensuring reliable performance in diverse climates. Its mechanical design includes a 103mm wide, 80mm deep, and 35mm high aluminum heatsink, cut by CNC for excellent cooling performance and DIN-rail mounting capability.

The ED-IPC2000 is available in different models, with the IPC2010 being the base model lacking audio output, microphone, CSI, and DSI interfaces. In contrast, the IPC2020 model includes these features, making it suitable for applications requiring audio, camera, or additional display capabilities.

The ED-IPC2000 stands out with its single ground wire design, which improves signal reception stability in industrial environments. It supports both wall and rail mounting, revealing more interfaces for potential expansion with relays, IO, and other functional modules. The standard USB interface is designed to accommodate dual USB devices with a wider spacing, and the Gigabit network port ensures stable wired communication.

The HDMI port allows connection to a variety of LCD screens, facilitating the transformation into an HMI all-in-one machine for industrial applications. The camera function, supported by the addition of a camera module, meets the needs for industrial applications requiring a camera or video capabilities. Dual storage support is provided by CM4 eMMC for code storage and an SD card for data storage, with a rail fixed to prevent ejection due to vibration, enhancing reliability and stability in industrial settings.

The ED-IPC2000 also features a Raspberry Pi standard 40pin interface, making it compatible with a wide range of Raspberry Pi standard products and expansion boards. A customized large area CNC heat sink ensures the device operates normally under extreme temperatures. Status indication is provided through LED lights and a built-in buzzer, which can indicate different device statuses audibly. It also supports a super capacitor for data security in the event of power failure and has an RTC function, which is particularly useful when powered by PoE for long-distance power input. A one-key switch allows for easy device reboots.

In comparison to the Raspberry Pi 4B, the ED-IPC2010 offers similar CPU and RAM options but adds features like RTC support, an onboard encryption chip, and output power capabilities. It also supports a wider range of input voltages and has a more robust aluminum alloy heat dissipation shell, making it better suited for industrial applications.

The operating temperature range is also expanded to accommodate more extreme conditions. While the Raspberry Pi 4B is limited to a micro SD card for storage, the ED-IPC2010 offers additional eMMC storage options.

The ED-IPC2010 also includes a 40PIN interface compatible with Raspberry Pi standards, supporting a wide range of expansion boards for enhanced functionality.
