Raspberry Pi CM4 Based Six-axis Robot with Vision Solution.

The system incorporates 3pcs EDATEC high-speed AI cameras, a six-axis robot, EDATEC 15.6” HMI and EtherCAT Remote I/O Modules . Both AI Camera & HMI  are powered by Raspberry Pi CM4. The AI Cameras support continuous, real-time images, image capture and processing and parallax operations (to identify items’ positions)The six-axis robot is controlled by HMI through standard EtherCAT fieldbus ,which is powered by CODESYS.

Application Plan

This solution is for demonstration purpose, it can be used to replace labor-intensive task in the smart factory.

6-axis Desktop Robot
- 6-axis, AC Servo Motor, EtherCAT based
- Maximum load capacity of 7 kg and an arm span of 737.5 mm

Industrial EtherCAT Remote I/O Modules
- Slice I/O, Support up to 32 modules
- DI, DO, Relay, AI, AO and RTD
- Powered by CODESYS
